How’d that 2021 work out for ya? “May you live in interesting times,” the worst curse of them all.
I did not engage in much picture taking in December and January. I did however accomplish hip surgery in December and sepsis twice, residing in the hospital three times in six weeks, in the midst of Omicron too.
I watched nurses, doctors, janitors, EMTs, technicians, and all manner of health care workers work 13 hour days, one after another with cheerfulness and dedication. It gave more hope for the future than anything I have seen in a very, very long time. It not all the body count, car chases, crime, and disease on the local 10 O’clock news after all.
A few Sunsets, etc. after New Years, after the first sepsis…
Some when I could get outside briefly, in the Middle of January after the second sepsis…
And some from the end of January on a short walk…
Maybe Spring is coming … just beware of that curse …
